h4ckb0ard v2 by rot13labs
h4ckb0ard is the ultimate 40% keyboard for hackers. It was specifically designed to be taken apart, tinkered with, and rebuilt easily. There are puzzles and challenges hidden both in the firmware as well as on the hardware itself. This second run of h4ckb0ards feature the ATMega32u4 instead of the original ATMega328p as well as different keycaps; they are otherwise identical.
Each h4ckb0ard is hand made. They feature hand soldered hot-swap sockets and hand-lubed stabilizers to ensure smooth operation for years to come. By default h4ckb0ards come with Holy Panda tactile switches and use hot swap sockets to allow the switches to be swapped with ease while providing flexibility in the layout.
This keyboard is fully QMK compatible, so changing the firmware is a breeze. Like the original hackboard, new firmware can be customized via the QMK firmware project or through QMKs online configurator. h4ckb0ard's hardware is fully open source to encourage others to learn about building keyboards. The gerbers can be found in the h4ckb0ard repo above along with a PDF version of the instruction manual, the h4ckb0ard bootloader, and the firmware.
