Let me introduce our "cappuccino" which means little hat or hood in Italian. These make a great way to keep your hair all neat and tidy. They are made with assorted cotton fabrics sourced by us and fabric covered elastic that won't tangle in your hair. They come in 3 sizes (which fits most) but we welcome custom sizes as well. For the best fit please measure around the base of your head around to the front above forehead and choose the best size for you. Great for everyone, we were very busy sewing and donating these during the pandemic with a button on the sides to attach the mask for our friends at local Hospitals it saved there ears from countless hours of wearing the mask.
These are made by sister (Giovanna) who loves sewing more than I do, She has worked in the garment industry for more than 35 years, and just like me she can't sit still. So what do you do with all that fabric you have accumulated over those years... You create.

Hi and welcome to my shop. My name is Maria. I live in New York State in a suburban neighborhood where I have been able to build a home for my family. As a mother of three adventurous boys, I have had the pleasure of watching their creativity and their curiosity evolve. We would go fishing, or hiking, make craft projects or build science sets together from various things around the house. They have all since grown and onto their own adventures but I still love being creative. I enjoy getting dirty in the garden, sewing, working with wire and glass, traveling and spending time with my family. I find peace in working with my hands, repurposing, re-using and recreating items to bring them new life, because I believe everything should have a Second Chance.
Shop Policies
Items are handmade or embellished, unless it is something that is in my stock I ship within 2 business days. If it is a custom item I need 2-3 days to create and the time to ship. Custom made items are not returnable/refundable unless it is my error or shipping damages. If something needs a rush please feel free to email me and we can work it out. Most of my items are repurposed but I will specify that under the item page and if there are any special requirements for the item. I do try to keep my customers happy so if there is an issue with an item please contact me to discuss returning or exchanges.
