The Achelois Half moon Shawl, inspired by the ancient greek goddess Achelois.
Achelois (pronounced “A-khe-LO-ees”) was a minor Greek goddess from ancient times. She was one of the deities identified with the moon and its monthly cycle. Achelois has been translated in English as “she who washes away pain”, and she was often looked to by the ancient Greeks as a source of comfort and healing.
When you wear this shawl, I want you to feel your inner beauty, the powerful goddess within you, just radiating forward. May you uplift the energy of the room you step into and inspire others to do the same.
The mantra of this shawl is “I release all the pain and I embrace all my strength.”

Hello and welcome to my shop!
I am Maria, also known as Mrs. B. I am an artisan, mother, wife and lover or all handmade items. I have tried many crafts in my life time, from soap making to jewelry, to painting but my true passion is in the fiber arts, specifically crochet.
Every part of creating a crochet piece for me is so exciting! From selecting the right yarn, color and pattern to that final stitch. It is all so creative and fun. I have been crocheting for 4 years and I continue to learn something new with every single project I do.
I love making shawls. Every single stitch on my unique shawls is made with a positive affirmation. For me this is a super meditative process. I never make the same shawl twice as I feel each one has its own personality and vibe. No two are ever alike!

How it’s Made
This shawl is approximately 60 x 27 inches. It is made with 100% premium acrylic yarn. Hand wash and lay flat to dry.
