Meet the Maker

My name is Amy. I am the face behind the shop Eternal Night Boutique. I am married and have two wonderful kids. My youngest was born in 2004 with mild Spina Bifida. The financial struggle from his first years led to me not being able to work outside the home and us moving away from our home town and starting over. In order to be home for my kids and help out financially, I took my passion for creating and turned it into the shop you see today.

I have always loved art in any form. I started out with drawing when I was younger and as years went by I wanted to expand and get more hands on. This is when I started making jewelry. I love to make jewelry and the feeling that comes with wearing something that I have created. I have a lot of fun working with a wide range of materials for a variety of fashions. My passion for art grew even more from there and before I knew it, I was picking up a paint brush. From that point on, I have been experimenting with different types of art forms. Each new project is like a brand new puzzle. Figuring out how to bring ideas and projects to life is an exhilarating feeling.

We moved back to our home town of Norfolk, Va in 2022 and my son with Spina Bifida lives with me and helps me with my shop. He preps my shipping table to make sure the process is streamlined for me and he also handles my marketing for Instagram and Tumblr. He is also autistic and is experimenting with art to try and find his passion as well and I look forward to the day when he can open and showcase his own art.

I thank you for taking the time to read my story and I hope you stay and shop with me and grab yourself something special today!
