Meet the Maker
My name is Dessa Hand. I majored in fine arts in college 40 years ago and then became a Banker. Go figure. I retired from Banking and decided to do the stuff I love. Creating stuff I like! So with my trusty 1929 Singer and some upholstery samples I started sewing for friends. I then decided to attempt making some money. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2018 so I spent 2019 fighting for my life. Then came covid so I am still attempting to get out there and show my creations. I love my new life and would like to share my creations with the world. Enjoy!
