Scarf Description: This cowl and hat are hand crocheted using a variegated yarn with Autumn and Winter colors. The yarn has colors of black, brown, tan, cream, rust, orange, dark red, and a light blue to blue.The neck cuff is just the right size to roll up and put in your coat pocket. The hat would fit perfect in the other coat pocket. The neck cuff is about 4 7/8 inches wide and about 21 ½ inches long. It closes in the front where the cuff tapers into a point at about 19 ½ inches. It closes in the front with a black button that has a gold trim around the edge.
Hat Description: The hat is in a cap style, and is about 8 ¾ inches tall and about 20 inches in diameter. I use the word 'about' when describing the measurements as the hand crochet allows for stretch. The colors of the yarn make for great patterns on the hat. If you look at the pictures, you will see the two different sides of the hat, both look a bit different depending on where the colors landed during the hand crocheted process.
Yarn: The yarn is an acrylic and polyester blend.
Measurements: The scarf is 21 ½ inches long and 4 7/8 inches wide. From the button to the button hole is about 19 ½ inches. The cap is 8 /4 inches from crown to brim and is 19 ¾ inches in diameter.
Processing: This item is a finished product. My processing time takes 1-3 days based on USPS holidays and Sundays.
Washing instructions: Hand wash in cool soapy water. Be sure your soap is a mild soap and you will only need to use just a little soap. Rinse, then lay the item in a towel and roll the towel with the scarf inside. Then press out the excess water. Then lay the scarf flat to dry. Once dry, if the scarf needs a bit of fluffing, you can place in a cool dryer for 1-2 minutes with a dryer sheet.
Environment: This item was crafted in a smoke free and pet free home.
Packaging: My packaging for my crocheted items is that I place them in a food grade plastic bag and place them in a mailing envelope. If it is one of my larger items I will use a box. The plastic protects the item in shipping in case the envelope or box gets wet. Once you receive the hand crocheted item, shake it to fluff. The scarf could smell a bit like the plastic bag when you get it...a bit of time out of the bag and this smell should go away.

And...yes, in the pic my readers do have the sticker showing the strength. I have them in different strengths throughout the house. I leave them on the readers so that if I happen on to an older pair with a lower strength, I can look at the sticker and not think I am going blind!
In this picture I am making dainty little necklaces and hair bows for my granddaughter. I make my jewelry in the formal dining room. My husband said we should not have bought a house with a formal living and dining room, because we do not use them. Well, I am using them now!!! I have foil down on my table to protect it...and it forms to the table so it worked well, and rubber gloves on so I do not burn my fingers while making the bows! Just in case you were wondering...my mouth is open cuz I am talking.
