This lovely little habotai silk scarf measures 8"X54" and is a perfect gift - stocking stuffer. I dyed this scarf using a 7th century Japanese Arashi Shibori technique, professional grade dyes and steamed the finished scarf to set the dyes permanently.
Shipping: Shipping is FREE! Orders ship within 24 hours from my home studio in Southern California. All silk pieces ship in an organza bag and include care instructions and my card.
Caring for your silk is easy: Silk is a protein, like your hair. When needed, wash in cool water with a few drops of shampoo. Rinse, and roll up in a big fluffy towel to remove the rest of the water (never ring silk, the fibers are strong but short and wringing may damage your silk). I like to iron my pieces on silk setting, no steam to finish drying. But, if you allergic to ironing, you can simply hang your scarf to finish drying.
