LACE UP SLIPPER SOCKS
Here is the next best thing in comfy footwear - These ''booties" are extremely soft and light, The lacing can be tightened and loosened as needed to fit the contours of your foot and ankle, and it is fun to make the pompoms dance!
These slipper socks are hand knit from acrylic yarn in a solid baby blue and a pastel multicolor - The laces are also made from the multicolor yarn - The pom poms are made with the baby blue yarn
â—Š These are made in a straight tube that is quite stretchy to accommodate many sizes of foot
â—Š These are 16" long, so would easily fit a foot that is 10" to 13" long.
â—Š Keep in mind - the shorter the foot, the higher the slipper will go up your leg.
â—Š I would recommend to hand wash in warm water with flat drying because of the pompoms

Meet the Maker
I am a mom of 2 and Grandma to 3 precocious little ones! I have crafted my entire life (Thanks, MOM!) and worked the last 16 years in a Tailoring Shop. Now that I am retired, it is time to share my stash of "creations". I sew, knit, crochet and embroider mostly, although I have dabbled in painting some wood crafts and am attempting some jewelry creations. I am an active "scavenger" for vintage fabric, trims, buttons, beads, buckles, baubles and other odd items to use in my creations. Because of this, I rarely make the same item twice the same way. I feel this ensures a type of personalization for each unique customer!

How it’s Made
I ran across a knitting book from the 60's and when I saw the pattern for these slippers, I just had to make them. They are fun, warm and adjustable! Hope you find them just as fun.
