Alice In Wonderland themed flower pots. Size ranges between 6" to 2" pots. Five (5) total pots.
Pots represent:
6": White Rabbit w/Watch, 5": Alice, 4": Mad Hatter's Hat, 3": Cheshire Cat, 2": Queen of Hearts.
All are hand painted, sealed inside with a rubberized sealer to provide a moisture barrier and have 4 to 6 coats of clear on the outside.
However, should not be in an area where they sit in standing water, or the sprinkler is on them for a long period of time. They are cleared on the outside to help protect them from the elements, but should be brought in during the winter months if you have severe winter condition.
This is shown with a metal base/stand. Metal base is included. Easy assembly, instructions included. The base allows for it to stand upright without tipping over so you do not have to fill with dirt if you prefer to use artificial flowers, or use without plants. (Note: part of the reason shipping is a little higher, the metal base plate is heavy.)

Meet the Maker
Thank you for visiting my shop. I started painting whimsical themed flower pots a few years ago, as gifts mostly, then I was asked to make a silent auction item for a fundraiser. I created the Alice in Wonderland themed tilted pot set for the event. It did very well at the auction which prompted me to open an Etsy shop thinking I could become a stay at home doggie mom. Well, I haven't quit my day job, but I do enjoy crafting. I am also trying to branch out to new platforms and goimagine fit my needs. So we'll see how it goes. New stuff will be added to my shop frequently, but if you have an idea, message me... I do special orders.
How it’s Made
THE POT PAINTING PROCESS
SEALING THE INSIDE: I seal the inside with a rubberized sealer. This takes 3 days to fully dry before I can handle the pot. However, this is a very important step to keep water from leaching through the pot and causing damage to the painted outside.
BASE COAT: I apply the base colors to each pot. This may just be a single color or it can be several colors. This dries for a full day before moving onto the next step.
PAINTING THE FINISHING DETAILS: Depending on the design, this can take a minimum of a couple days to a week for each pot.
SEALING THE OUTSIDE: When I am happy with the finished piece, it gets clear coated (minimum of 4 coats) to protect it from the elements, this also provides a gloss finish and makes it easier to clean.
CURING BEFORE SHIPMENT: The pot needs to dry for a minimum of 4 to 7 days before it can be wrapped and shipped

MY WORK:
Everything is hand painted and/or hand embellished by me.
ITEMS IN SHOP... UNLESS IT SAYS "READY TO SHIP," it takes 4 to 5 weeks for most items to be made. However, weather (wind, rain, snow) can delay a project since the final step needs to be done outside. I will update shipping time if weather is a problem.
INDOOR OR OUTDOOR?
It is not recommended that they sit outside where they are in standing water or the sprinkler is hitting them daily. While they can endure being outside, they should be covered or brought inside during the winter months. Extreme weather can shorten the pots life span.
NEED SOONER:
I can accommodate a quicker turn around time if I am not in the middle of other orders. If the item is needed by a certain date, please contact me so I might be able to get the item out sooner than 4 to 5 weeks. However, the minimum turn around time is 3 weeks. There is almost 2 weeks of drying time before I can ship it.

More time consuming to paint, price goes up at my discretion. Price is always agreed upon prior to purchase. Will create a "special order" listing for you with the price, details, sketch photos and details of our conversation. This price does not include shipping.
WISH BOXES/JEWELRY BOXES:
I have many choices (not shown) to choose from. If you have a theme in mind, message me and we can go through some options. Colors choices, personalize, paint style, etc. can all be discussed. Boxes also take 4 to 5 weeks to complete.
NO DISCOUNT ON BULK ORDERS:
As a bulk order does not change the time involved to finish the project, nor do I get the materials at a cheaper rate. You can save some money on shipping being combined in the same box though.
SHIPPING:
I use a heavy (thicker) pot, not a cheap one, so there is weight to be considered.
However, if ordering more than one item, MESSAGE ME BEFORE PURCHASE so I can create a special order and combine the shipping into one box, it will be cheaper that way.
SHIPPING DELAYS:
Our local post office can take up to 3 days to check in packages. Please be patient as this is out of my hands....

On a side note: I try to keep the cost down as much as possible. I don't "add in" extra shipping charges for boxes and bubble wrap. I recycle boxes, packaging, bubble wrap, etc. from things I buy. So you might end up getting something you bought from me in a Chewy box. The less I have to purchase, the less I need to pass on to the customer. I know that shipping costs determine whether someone chooses to purchase my items, which is completely understandable ---so I try to compensate by being frugal where I can...
