Add a bit of rustic and a bit of nature to your Christmas tree with this hand-painted downy woodpecker wood slice Christmas ornament! A single evergreen tree in the snow is on the back of this ornament. Inspired by my nature photography, this is one of my favorite ornaments of 2025!
The ornament in the product picture is the one you will receive
Wood type - pine
Ornament size - approximately 3 1/4 inches in height, 3 1/4 inches in width, and 3/8 inches thick
I paint with acrylics, and then seal the entire ornament with a water-based polycrylic to prevent the wood slice from cracking and the paint from chipping. Sealing also enhances the paint color and wood grain.
Jute twine is threaded through the ornament for hanging
