Style #1 The Christmas Sari--This paper mache/cardboard ornament is 4.5"tall and 3.5" wide and absolutely stunning in shimmering peacock blue! Flowers painted in first gold leaf, and then overlaid with either red or gold glitter, are positioned and styled to mimic the embroidery of saris. Gold glitter detailing and swirls between the ornament sections and the top and bottom of the ornament add to the exotic feel. Topped with a generous wide, sheer red- almost- hint- of- orange ribbon bow this would be the perfect gift for the traveler in your life or for the person who would love to travel and is still waiting for that dream to be realized.
Styles #2 Tina's Hat-- This ornament is made of bisque ceramic and is approximately 3" tall by 2.5" wide. Its base color falls between a magenta and fuchsia while the stars and loop design are worked in gold leaf overlaid with gold glitter. It hangs from a wide gold ribbon. Fun Fact: Old movie aficionados may recognize the source of inspiration for this ornament and its name which came from a main female character's hat in a 1950's movie where the main character was born a prince, was stolen by a thief, raised by the thief and later regains his crown.
* Each ornament is protected by two coats of varnish.

Meet the Maker
Hello, and welcome to Yankee Doodle Darlings! We are a family of sisters that enjoy creating all types of things. Sewing, art, design, and anything that strikes our fancy! We grew up watching our mom sew and create items to decorate our house, and I guess you could say we caught the creative bug! It started out when we were little, making more dresses for our paper dolls (they never had enough!), and over the years it has landed us here.
How it’s Made
These adventurous Christmas ornaments are made from either bisque or cardboard/paper-mache structures that are hand-painted with acrylics and sealed with non toxic varnish. Ribbon and glitter complete the items.

We understand that buying clothing online can be a risk, which is why we allow returns on clothing. Please see below for particulars.

We do not do exchanges. For clothing, if you realize the size you ordered is too small or too big, we suggest returning the item for a refund and reordering in the correct size.
