About This Scarf:
A lightweight, soft and breezy 100% Habotai 8mm China silk, exclusive of decoration: the scarf was hand-painted using a water marbling technique by Tania of Kaleidoscope FMC out of her home in Brighton, Michigan.
The colors in the scarf are a beautiful combination of neutral earth tones that include a shade of sap green, a muted red (looks more like a dusty rose pink), a shade of tan, black and white.

Colors may vary slightly from as pictured (due to camera & lighting quality and individual interpretation or perspective). Photos are taken in front of multiple windows throughout my home to use natural lighting. This results in the variance of brightness and colors shown on the scarf in the different photos, but also represents the scarf in various environmental elements of natural lighting.
Scarf is finished with factory machine--hemmed edges.

What To Know:
The nature of the painting technique used can result with minor imperfections in the printed design. This is normal and adds to the unique characteristics of the scarf.
How To Care For Your Scarf:
- Gently wash -only as needed- by method of hand washing in cool or lukewarm water with mild detergent such as Woolite or baby shampoo. Over-washing may result in rapid color fade.
- To dry, lay flat or hang to dry. Do not leave scarf in direct sunlight to dry. An optional method that also helps to speed up the drying process is to gently roll wet scarf into a towel and lightly press (do not wring, twist or tightly squeeze) to remove excess moisture - before laying or hanging it to dry.
- Iron on back side of slightly damp scarf with iron set to a low (silk) temperature. Scarf can also be dampened with a spray bottle filled with water to remove wrinkles while ironing. Avoid chemical ironing agents, such as 'Best Press', as they may stain the silk.

Thank you for visiting my goimagine shop! Kaleidoscope Fabrics Marbling & Crafts, LLC (Kaleidoscope FMC, for short) is a small home-based arts and crafts online boutique offering hand-painted silk scarves, handcrafted fashion jewelry and an assortment of crafts made by me: Tania K. of Brighton, MI. I am an artist and crafter who loves creating practical use gifts and fashionable unique wearable art. Primarily, I paint silk scarves, but I also knit, sew, paint, draw and make jewelry accessories.
My my toughest obstacle since taking on the business is with parting ways from my creations. I would happily wear every scarf that I make if I wasn't selling them. My hopes are that my creations bring you as much peace and joy as they bring me when I create them!

Shop Policies
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
I process orders within 1-2 business days of receiving your order notification. Orders will ship the next business day or on the same day, depending when I receive the order notification. If orders are placed on a weekend or holiday, they will be shipped on the postal service's first operating day after that weekend or holiday. Orders are shipped via USPS first-class mail. Please allow up to 5-7 business days for delivery once it is shipped. If you need an order sooner, please notify me when placing your order so I can try to make arrangements to expedite the shipment. Please note, there may be an additional postal fee for expedites.
RETURNS
I will accept returns or exchanges within 14 days of your receipt of the order. Returned items must be in original unused condition free of odors and wear- such as smoke (i.e., nicotine, cannabis, bonfires, etc.) perfumes and body odors. Buyer will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs. Please contact me prior to returning an order to make arrangements.
