These hand-thrown ceramic mugs are a sight to see! Made with white stoneware clay intertwined with blue clay, each mug is a unique and fun coffee-drinking experience!
Each mug is wheel thrown using b-mix clay and fired to cone 6. A flowing blue glaze is used as a base and combined with different glazes to encourage the flow you see along the side of the mug. They are glazed in a way that makes the mug food-safe and still allows you to enjoy the raw clay. Each of these mugs is truly unique!
These mugs hold 10 ounces of coffee. They are 3 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" diameter. Including the handle, they are 5" wide.

How it’s Made
Using a mid-fire b-mix clay, these mugs are wheel thrown and fired to cone 6. Each is 50% plain b-mix and 50% b-mix combined with mason stain. The glazing was designed to get a creative flow during firing, yet leave enough raw clay visible for the customer's enjoyment.
