The Cross Grain Creation Company
Meet the Maker
The Cross Grain Creation Company was born from a love story as timeless as the wood its artisans carefully shape. The husband-and-wife duo behind the brand first met in a high school woodworking class, where a shared passion for craftsmanship sparked a bond that would grow into both a lifelong partnership and a thriving business.
Their journey began with simple projects—small pieces that allowed them to explore the beauty and intricacies of different woods. As their skills grew, so did their connection, each cut and sanded edge a testament to their shared dreams. After high school, they continued to hone their craft, working side by side, refining techniques, and developing a deep respect for the art of woodworking.
In time, this passion evolved into The Cross Grain Creation Company, a business that reflects their dedication to quality and love for the material they work with. Every cutting board is meticulously handcrafted, combining function with beauty. Each piece tells a story—of the wood it was made from and the hands that shaped it.
Today, The Cross Grain Creation Company is known for its exquisite cutting boards, each one a symbol of the couple’s commitment to their craft and to each other. Their story is carved into every board, a unique blend of artistry and affection that makes each product not just a kitchen tool, but a piece of their journey together.
