We're glad you're here! We are a husband and wife team with a shared passion for creativity and craftsmanship. I specialize in crafting unique and magical home decor items inspired by pagan and witchcraft traditions with my crafting kitty Beeberz. Meanwhile, my husband is a talented woodworker who loves to create beautiful pieces that are inspired by whatever captures his imagination at the moment. Our shop cat Malachi is always at the ready to lend a helping paw. Together, we offer a collection of one-of-a-kind items that are perfect for adding a touch of enchantment to any home. How it’s Made
The process begins with a trip to my local lumber yard, where I carefully explore the aisles in search of wood with unique grain patterns and natural “defects” that will add character to my projects. Once I’ve selected the perfect pieces, they come back to my shop, where they’re left to acclimate for about a week, ensuring the wood settles into the right condition before any work begins.
During this time, I—along with the many squirrels in my mind—contemplate the best way to transform each piece. After it’s fully acclimated, the fun really starts. I begin laying out different woods, mixing and matching until I find the perfect combinations that complement one another and have the right personality for the project.
Then, it’s time to get down to business: measuring, cutting, jointing, gluing, and planing. And, of course, there's always the dreaded sanding. Each piece is meticulously sanded down to 400 grit, ensuring it's smooth and ready for the next steps.
Next comes the fine-tuning: Do we need a juice groove? Is it perfectly square? Should there be chamfers, handles, or dados? More cutting, more sanding, and more attention to detail.
Finally, the board is treated with my signature Velvet Rayven Board Butter, which is applied in three coats, giving the piece a rich, polished finish. And then, it’s ready to be sent out to you, complete with all the character, craftsmanship, and love that went into making it.
Shop Policies
Some items are made to order and will be in the description. This can take 2-3 business days to complete.
Shipping:
Shipping will be USPS priority mail or USPS first class mail.
Please double-check that you have entered the correct address. Items returned due to an incorrect address must be resent at the buyer's cost.
Customs and import taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for delays due to customs.
Cancellations:
Cancellations will be accepted within 24 hours of placing your order.
Cancellation on personalized/custom orders cannot be accepted if production has started on the item.
Return policy:
If you are unhappy for any reason, please contact us within 3 days of receiving the item. The buyer must state the issue and provide pictures.
Buyer is responsible for return shipping. The product needs to be returned within 7 days.
Original shipping paid will not be included in the refund.
A refund will be issued once the product is received and in the condition it was sent.
No returns/refunds on handmade soap due to the nature of it being a personal product.
