About this Product

Introduce a touch of nature into your home with this handcrafted wooden succulent planter. Each planter is meticulously crafted from high-quality wood, showcasing the natural grain and texture that makes each piece unique.

DIMENSIONS

Measuring 4 x 3.5 x 3.5 inches, it’s perfectly sized for your favorite succulents, cacti, tillandsia (air plants), or other small indoor plants. The opening in the planter is 2.5 inches which provides a healthy environment for your succulent to thrive.

DESIGN

Designed for practicality, this unique succulent planter is coated with epoxy in the opening to protect the wood against moisture and damage. I also provided a drainage hole to ensure proper moisture control, prevent overwatering, and promote healthy root growth. A natural finish is applied to the outside of the planter to showcase the warmth of the wood and seamlessly blend in with any decor style—from rustic farmhouse to modern minimalism.

A fantastic gift for plant lovers, housewarming parties, or any special occasion, this handcrafted wooden succulent planter makes a thoughtful addition to anyone's home. Bring the joy of gardening indoors with this charming piece, and let your loved ones express their green thumbs in style!

Not a green thumb? That's okay because succulents are one of the easiest plants to care for.

Meet the Maker

Incisive Design started when I created my freelance Graphic Design business 20 years ago. I was fresh out of college and eager to do some extra design work for clients outside of my traditional design career. I have always enjoyed making and building things ever since I was at a young age. Building has always been in my blood. That passion took a new form when I inherited my grandfather's woodworking tools. I have fond memories of helping him in his shop as a child, watching him work and dreaming of creating things myself.

As I began a new life with my wife and family, it led to more fixer-upper projects and building furniture. Later, I inherited more tools from my father-in-law, a contractor and experienced woodworker. Some of my most cherished memories are of building projects with him in his shop. Now, using those tools connects me to those special times. Every tool I own, passed down from loved ones, brings me joy and peace as I create in my own shop.

Whether it be woodworking or graphic design, I require precision in all that I do, which in turn creates good design. I like to keep it simple. That incisiveness makes me happy—to know it was done correctly and with great attention to detail.

When you purchase something from Incisive Design, know that it was made with care and joy. I hope it brings you joy, as well.

How it’s Made

The succulent planters are handcrafted by me alone in my garage shop in San Antonio, TX. I purchase FSC-certified Douglas Fir & Whitewood for these and create them with joy and precision.

NOTE:

I apply oil/varnish to all stains to enhance the beauty of the wood while giving it lifelong protection. This takes about 3 days to cure, so processing orders typically takes 1 - 3 days.

Due to the natural variations in the material, each piece features its own distinct color and texture, ensuring that no two are exactly alike.
