About this Product

Add a powerful statement piece to your home, office, or man cave with this handcrafted wooden American flag—expertly carved to mimic the graceful wave of Old Glory in the wind. Each piece is meticulously hand-carved, torched to highlight the natural wood grain, and finished with a high-gloss spar urethane for long-lasting beauty and protection—indoors or out.

This isn’t your average flag. This is a labor of love, sweat, sawdust, and patriotism. Made by hand in my small workshop (usually with a dachshund supervising and a little sawdust in my coffee), this flag turns heads and starts conversations. Every burn mark and wave is intentional—no two are alike.

Perryville, MO
Welcome to my woodshop—where freedom meets craftsmanship, and the whole crew’s got a job to do (whether they know it or not).I’m a proud, woman-owned small business handcrafting bold, rustic American flags right here in the USA. Every piece I make is filled with heart, grit, and a whole lot of sawdust. These aren’t your average wall hangings—they’re powerful statements of patriotism. From scorched, tattered edges to engraved amendments and bullet casing stars, each flag tells a story. The shop is powered by me, fueled by coffee, and occasionally supervised by Ruby—my stubborn little dachshund who thinks she's the foreman. May the cat? She mostly judges me from the corner. And Emberlynn, my granddaughter, is the honorary quality control boss (and glitter expert), always keeping things lively and full of love.Around here, every flag is built with purpose, pride, and a deep respect for the red, white, and blue.

How it’s Made

Each flag kicks off with a pile of good ol’ pine boards—cut, glued, and screwed together tighter than my schedule during craft show season. I build the base stripe by stripe, making sure it’s sturdy enough to survive life, weather, and possibly a surprise wrestling match with a four-year-old.

Then comes the fun part: shaping the waves. I fire up my angle grinder—a tool that sounds like it came from a monster truck pit crew—and sculpt deep, flowing curves into the wood to give it that proud, wind-whipped look. No lasers, no shortcuts, just me and a grinder roaring louder than Ruby when someone says “bath.”

Once the curves are just right, I torch the surface to bring out the natural wood grain and give the whole piece that warm, rustic, freedom-burnt finish. After that, I hand-stain the stripes in rich, bold colors.

Now for the stars—no paint here! I switch to my Dremel tool and carve each star right into the wood, one by one, while trying to keep Emberlynn from climbing up on the workbench with a glitter bottle.

Everything is sealed with spar urethane to protect it from the elements (or sticky fingers), and I attach heavy-duty hanging hardware so it’s ready to go straight from my workshop to your wall.

Each flag is 100% handmade, 100% unique, and 110% full of sawdust, heart, and probably a dog hair or two.
