About this Product

I have been knitting since I was a little girl, over 45 years ago. I am grateful for the skills accumulated over all that time so I can create top quality designs for you to wear.

This sweater is designed by me, using traditional fisherman knitting patterns that are hundreds of years old.

This color is a 'clay' colorway, but other colors are available, Please message me so we can secure your preferences, size, fit, etc.

These are made to order so there will be a wait time of at least 90 days, depending on how deep the order queue is. Please be patient.

Rush orders will be double price due to putting everyone else at the back of the line, and possible order cancellations resulting, therefore lost revenue.

I use wool yarn only for this creation because wool creates the best stitch definitions and shows off all that hard work.

This pattern looks snug, but it is very stretchy to allow for all activity.

Instructions for proper care of the garment will be included.

Thank you for supporting small business! Your purchase supports my flower/vegetable/Beekeeping farm here in Eastern Oregon!

Meet the Maker

Hi! My name is Marilyn and I live in the High Deserts of Eastern Oregon, USA.
I have been creating for most of my life and since I will be 58 in 2024, that's a LONG time!

Here you will find original designs and creations by my using all kinds of mediums and skills.

Knitting, Crochet, Embroidery, Upcyling, Acrylic paintings, Beads, Leather, Wood and naturally sourced items from my local environment.

Most of my items are one of a kind. I hope you enjoy each and every one!

How it’s Made

I use 100% wool yarn that is meant to be worn outdoors over a shirt.

Wool is moisture-wicking, biodegradable and sustainable.

I knit these sweaters per order, so there is wait time as I have a full time job.

The sweater is knitted in the round, split at the arms, reconnected at the shoulders, and then the sleeves are knitted in the round to the cuff.

The collar in the photo was the wearer's choice, but I traditionally make a rounded collar. Turtlenecks are optional as well.

A handmade sweater properly cared for will last a lifetime and can be a family heirloom. I have several that I have inherited.

while I knit, I set positive intentions into the garment so it brings the wearer joy and peace.
