The acorns are made from real acorns coated in PMC3 fine silver clay. Then fired to burn off everything but the .999 pure silver. Leaf detail also done in the same way. Presented on an 18" 1.25mm 925 sterling cable necklace to help with the weight of the acorns. This is a statement piece and one-of-a-kind. Total weight including the cable chain is 1oz.

Hello friend! Thank you for clicking on my "Meet the Maker" page. I'm so happy to be here.
I've been a maker and creator for over 25 years. I am a professional photographer who also teaches photography classes at the high school level. In addition to that, I run two small businesses (photography and crafting).
I started my metalsmithing journey over a decade ago when I saw Elemental Adornments at the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show. She made her pieces out of PMC3. I set out to find an instructor, and the rest is history... so to speak.
In addition to making jewelry, I love to make natural skincare products out of desert plants and have just started my soaping and candle making journey. Wish me luck!
