These 7.5-inch handmade African angel ornaments are made with colorful, brilliant African fabric, and some from Ghana wax print. There is netting under her dress to help hold the shape. A wooden head with gold trim is
attached to the dress. Her wings are sewn with Pellon, Satin, or quilting fabric. Each angel is adorned with trim or accent pieces, some of which will vary based on my stash. This angel ornament can be a sentimental gift for a loved one,
just because gift, a thank you gift, for Grandma, Nana, Gift exchange, or your tree. The angel is shipped in a cellophane bag with a gold hangar ready for gifting. A keepsake for years to come.

About The Artist
Carole Brothers began her career as a teacher and have combined her professional work with her creative impulse to become a freelance children's art and craft specialist as well as an artist in her own right. Carole began making dolls in 1999 after noticing that there were very few dolls that reflected both her African American heritage and her Christian values. With a creative spirit and deft hands, Brothers has integrated a number of techniques she has learned from various workshops over the years to create her one-of-a-kind pieces. She uses paints, dyes, textiles, mixed media, and surface manipulation to design dolls, figurines, and wall art. Her innovation leads her to incorporate found objects and household items in unusual ways. Carole describes her work as an "interpretation on doll-making that dates to the earliest of times." Carole has been commissioned to do dolls for prominent clientele such as, The Smithsonian African American Museum Shop. Her work continues to excite customers and can also be found in their private collections throughout the United States of America.

How it’s Made
These handmade African angel ornaments are made with machine-sewn skirts, wooden head painted, tulle, ribbon, and wing sewn and attached to the back of the angel.
Shop Policies
Processing / Shipping Time / Returns/ Lost Package
Orders are shipped in 1-3 business days when the order was received.
Orders are FREE SHIPPING by USPS Ground Advantage, delivery time start when package is handed off at Post Office. You will receive a tracking number.
Deliver time is dependent upon current USPS conditions.
Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery.
Buyer is responsible for return shipping cost.
Item{s} must be returned in resellable condition.
If the package shows damage when delivered, please photograph the damage before opening. To verify damage I will also need a photo of the item so I can file a claim with the post office.
Customer is responsible for providing a correct address. Items returned due to incorrect address will not be refunded and customer is responsible for the shipping charge to resend if package returned.
Please have package delivered to secure location. No refunds or replacements will be issued for items showing delivered. You should file a report with the Post Office and your local Police, so they can track cases and see if there are patterns of mail theft.
