Meet the Maker
Hi, I'm Kim! I've been a graphic designer for over 15 years and over the past year I've started to design and make gift items. I have always been creative and enjoy doing arts and crafts so it has been fun to bring my ideas to life.
When I met my husband he had a laser engraver and I started playing around with making different items on it. From suncatchers to earrings and holiday ornaments it has been fun to explore different materials to use to create unique items.
How it’s Made
All of my items are designed and handmade by me in my workshop in California.
This ballerina nightlight has 4 layers of 1/8" material with a layer of thin UV-printed acrylic. All the layers are connected using bronze Chicago screws.
The top layer is 1/8" clear acrylic to protect the nightlight. The back of the nightlight has a stand with a battery pack. Batteries are included. The battery pack has OFF, ON, and a TIMER function. With the TIMER function, the nightlight stays on for 6 hours, and off for 18 hours.
