About this Product
Carved & Oxidized Handmade Recycled .999 Fine Silver Unisex "Capitalism" Cuff Bracelet
This handmade, .999 fine silver "capitalism" bracelet has a carved vignette of a figure with a dollar sign in each hand, standing on the backs of two crawling figures, one on each side, with another dollar sign carved into each end. Hand rolled from an ingot we made by melting old .999 fine silver tableware and oxidized to a rich blue-grey patina, the bracelet measures 4 7/8-inches in inner circumference with a 1 7/8-inch gap, 1-inch top-to-bottom, weighs 40.4 grams and is available for custom orders in other widths and sizes. Please note: Many of our pieces are allegorical and/or have themes that are topical and relevant to the modern world, and are meant to represent observations, not opinions.

Meet the Maker
How it’s Made
All of our jewelry is handmade using sustainable practices including melting of broken or obsolete gold and silver objects, the use of natural and/or recycled fabrication, stationery and shipping materials whenever possible and recycling of previously used or collected gemstones. By design and the processes of melting, hammer-forging and/or rolling the metals we use, our jewelry is more substantial in mass and weight than most commercially made jewelry (that's why we include gram weights in all of our listings). When accessible, we use .999 fine silver for its beautiful luster, its resistance to tarnish and for its slightly higher value compared to sterling silver. Please note that due to vagaries inherent in this process, each piece is unique in some respect(s), and custom orders will reflect this in slight differences in hammering and other tooling marks, depth of oxidization and etc.
