Handmade Hammered Sterling Silver, Moonstone & Colored Quartz Bangle Bracelet
This one-of-a-kind bracelet was hand-rolled from 36 grams of melted antique sterling silver flatware, hand-hammered into an oval bangle and ornamented with a blue moonstone cabochon and a quartz cabochon with showy inclusions and a splash of blue color. The pronounced hammering dimples create a nice texture and a shimmering presence from the light reflecting off the many planes and angles, the gemstones are nicely complementary in color and luster and the bracelet is well-suited for either gender. It measures a roomy 8 1/4-inches in inner circumference, 9/16-inches top-to-bottom at its widest point and weighs 34.2 grams.

How it’s Made
All of our jewelry is handmade using sustainable practices including melting of broken or obsolete gold and silver objects, the use of natural and/or recycled fabrication, stationery and shipping materials whenever possible and recycling of previously used or collected gemstones. By design and the processes of melting, hammer-forging and/or rolling the metals we use, our jewelry is more substantial in mass and weight than most commercially made jewelry (that's why we include gram weights in all of our listings). Please note that due to vagaries inherent in this process, each piece is unique in some respect(s), and custom orders will reflect this in slight differences in hammering and other tooling marks, depth of oxidization and etc.
