Choose from a variety of beautiful hardwoods. Mix and match woods for an even more colorful display.
-Purpleheart is an exotic hardwood from Central & South America. And yes, it really is purple in color. No stain or coloration is used in the pictures.
-Ambrosia maple has unique striations which give it a very different look.
-Padauk is an exotic hardwood from Africa. And yes, it really is orange in color (mixed with beautiful streaks of red, brown and black). No stain or coloration is used in the pictures.
-Tigerwood is an exotic hardwood from Brazil. Tigerwood is typically a medium reddish brown and orange with irregularly spaced streaks of dark brown to black. Color tends to darken with age. (No stain or coloration is used in the pictures!).
After routing it on the CNC, the final product is sanded multiple times and treated with a mixture of mineral oil, coconut oil, beeswax and essential lemon & orange oil. This gives it a durability and brings out the unique grain in the hardwood.
Size is approximately 11" x 1.25" x .75" thick.

Meet the Maker
What a long, strange trip it's been! A short bio of me goes like this: I have a 30 year career in the non-profit sector including 16 years in higher education as a Dean of Online Programs and Assistant Professor. I even was a former "teacher of the year" winner at my college. But Covid and variety of other factors caused an awakening: I want to work with wood!
So I started the process of creating my own small business which involves laser engraving and wood working. I have 3 industrial lasers, a CNC and (so far) still 10 fingers. So far, so good, right???
My goal is easy - I try to make rustic modern designs that appeal to a variety of styles and decor. One of the things I do that's a bit different is I use exotic woods (from South America, Africa, Asia and Central America). These woods you can't get in the "big box" stores and have very unique patterns and colors different than the typical walnut, cherry or maple (which I use too!)
The end result is I make one-of-a-kind creations that are sure to really warm your home and elicit ooh's and aah's from your guests.
