About this Product
This listing is for 10, handmade wheat straw and cattail reed paper bookmarks/gift tags with a wheat straw drawing on the front, some tied with string. They measure approximately 2 x 6". My daughter, Rachel, and I make the paper used in the bookmarks. I have 10 currently made for this one listing. If you want more, contact me. The four in the photos are samples. If you have a preference, let me know. I will try to accommodate you. I have smaller bookmarks is available in florals.

Meet the Maker
I am the mother of three daughters. I also have four grandchildren, 2 boys and 2 girls. We all live here & see each other nearly everyday. I am very blessed.
I have been an artist all my life. I have painted in watercolor for over 40 yrs. I have been a paper maker for 16 yrs. Look in my shop sections for Fine Art and Handmade Paper. I have been a jewelry artist for 12 yrs.
I take my work seriously. I use the best materials and am proud of my creations. I’m in love with color change gemstones and feature them as often as I can. I also love American Gemstones and do some rock hounding myself.

How it’s Made
Making plant papers is a long process. Enjoy the journey!
1. Gather the plants
2. Shred and cook the plants for at least 4 hours.
3. Wash and clean the plants.
4. Beat the plants to release the inner fiber.
5. Create the slurry of fiber and additives.
6. Form, couch, press and dry and iron the sheets of paper.
7. Make something beautiful from the paper. My personal favorite is floral paper.

We accept returns and cancellations
- Contact me within: 3 days of delivery
- Ship items back within: 7 days of delivery
- Request a cancellation: as soon as possible, before the order has shipped.
- Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs and insurance. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
