These farmhouse/barnyard style quilted potholders are approximately 8 1/2"x 8 1/2" and made with 100% cotton fabric and multiple layers of cotton batting for insulation against the heat. All of these sets are quilted using free motion quilting, which gives both beauty and durability to the potholder. We use the self-binding method, also known as a fold-over-binding, for our potholders.
*Each set consists of two potholders.
Red Barnyard with White Thread Stitching on Border, Style 1: The front is a vintage inspired farmyard collage print. A vibrant true red and white polka dot print has been used for the backing, binding, and loop. The border/binding has been stitched with white thread for a country feel.

Care Instructions:
For the wonderful look and feel of a quilt, and for ease, wash and dry by machine. If you prefer to keep the potholders looking flat and crisp, hand-wash and lay flat to air dry. Iron if desired. These are very durable potholders made to stand up to hard and repeated use.
*We have included a loop for those who prefer to display their potholders.
These potholders hearken back to a simpler time making them a perfect gift for those who adore the vintage farmhouse look. They also would make great Housewarming, Mother's Day, Birthday or Hostess Gifts!
Note** These are hand-pieced and handmade items which means they will have slight variations in size and appearance; this is part of their appeal. Colors may appear slightly different then what is shown in photos because of the color warping of screens.

Meet the Maker
Hello, and welcome to Yankee Doodle Darlings! We are a family of sisters that enjoy creating all types of things. Sewing, art, design, and anything that strikes our fancy! We grew up watching our mom sew and create items to decorate our house, and I guess you could say we caught the creative bug! It started out when we were little, making more dresses for our paper dolls (they never had enough!), and over the years it has landed us here.
How it’s Made
These country looking quilted potholders are approximately 8 1/2"x 8 1/2" and made with 100% cotton fabric and multiple layers of cotton batting for insulation against heat. Both styles of potholders are quilted using free motion quilting and are quilted with white thread. We use the self-binding method, also known as a fold-over-binding, for our potholders.
**We do NOT use polyester batting with mylar in our pot holders. We have personally found that multiple layers of true cotton batting provide far superior insulation and protection against hot pans and heat rather than pot holders that are made with polyester batting with mylar. This is based off of years of testing in our personal kitchen.

We understand that buying clothing online can be a risk, which is why we allow returns on clothing. Please see below for particulars.

A refund will be granted when we receive item/s in original condition. The refund issued will be for the total of the item/s minus the original shipping.

Exchanges
We do not do exchanges. For clothing, if you realize the size you ordered is too small or too big, we suggest returning the item for a refund and reordering in the correct size.

Since we make many one-of-a- kind items, this helps us to keep our packaging costs lower so we can focus on creating quality items for our customers.
