OUR PRODUCT --> This stunning wood tray is handcrafted in our garage workshop using a beautiful combination of domestic hardwoods. The board itself is food-safe and doubles as a cutting/chopping board, making it easy to go from preparation to serving. However, it’s easy to see this tray can be used everywhere - in the bathroom, on your sofa or ottoman, to display home or holiday decor, to organize items of importance, even a place to drop your keys! Its exquisite design makes it a statement piece in any room – or even outdoors! The possibilities are endless, and we can't wait to see what you come up with.
SIZE --> This beautiful statement piece measures 17.75 inches long by 11.5 inches wide by 1 inch tall (when accounting rubber feet and handles the total height is 2.5 inches.)
ABOUT US --> BCA Design Company was founded in 2020 after 7 years of handcrafting custom wood pieces for my own home. Thankfully, I have a loyal group of wonderful clients locally who have allowed me to turn my woodworking hobby into a small business by ordering large-scale pieces, such as interior and exterior tables, wood mobile coolers, and furniture pieces. In handcrafting these pieces, I came to realize how much lumber was going to waste. I couldn’t bear to throw away such stunning pieces of wood because these designs needed to be cut down to a custom size. This is why I chose to expand my small business to Etsy. Putting a little time and love into these wood scraps meant I could repurpose them into smaller pieces that could be shipped to a larger audience looking for upscale hardwood designs. We know you will see the care we put into these pieces and value our earth-friendly mission to prevent these magnificent hardwoods full of character from ending up in the landfill.
Please note that wood is a natural material with diverse patterning and color. These variations should be expected and treasured as a unique element. Wood products should not be submerged in water, are not dishwasher safe, and should be kept away from hot surfaces such as stovetops.

Meet the Maker
Hi, I'm Brett, the founder of BCA Design Company. I started BCA Design Company in 2020 after several years of completing handcrafted wood projects for my own home. I have always had a passion for woodworking. Even as a little boy, I remember receiving a set of woodworking tools and endlessly pouring over them. I love custom projects and working with clients to make their vision a reality. I look forward to you enjoying my pieces for many years to come!
How it’s Made
THE PROCESS --> Each tray is made with the utmost care completely by hand. The lumber is milled to size and then glued together using a food-safe wood adhesive. The board then takes a bath in pure, food-safe mineral oil. After giving the board time to absorb the oil, any excess is removed, and the board is then waxed with our homemade 100% beeswax board butter, so it arrives ready to use immediately. Rubber feet are then added to the bottom of the board to create a more secure working area and finally the handles are attached to make serving a breeze!
