Teaser Wand Toy w/ Fringes (natural/olive green color)
This natural color cat wand with fringes is a lovely toy to add to your cats play routine. The suede string can be adjusted in length if needed. The wooden handle is nicely wrapped with paracord to provide a gentle grip when handling the cat wand toy. The fringes on the end piece of cat wand toy will draw your cats attention when you gently swing it in the air or drag it across the floor. I am thrilled to be on this platform and to share my creations with all who visits my shop. I started creating cat toys for my personal cats initially so that I can keep them active physically & mentally as well as to strengthen our bond. As a Registered Veterinary Technician, I know the importance of keeping your indoor cats active and entertained so that they get the exercise they need to stay healthy and happy. All the cat toys I make are handmade with care. One of my new hobbies is needle felting with wool, so many of my creations will be felted. In the attempt to be more eco-friendly, I try to be very conscious about the materials I use and repurpose some materials and use them on some of my creations. All toys are unique, limited & one of a kind.
Cats are natural hunters by nature and most of the toys I make are made with fibers & other materials that can be found in nature. Interactive toys like Cat Wand Treaser Toys are a great way to help satisfy that hunter instinct inside each cat and helps keep their minds sharp.

How it’s Made
The wood wands are cut into lengths of 16 inches. Each wand is then sanded and stained in organic coffee or black tea for 24 hours. Once the staining process is completed, the wands are rinsed well & set to dry in a secure & well ventilated area. I will then use bee's wax & olive oil wood polish wax that I make and polish each wand by hand.
Paracord can be reused when the life of the wand has come to an end.
All other parts of teaser wand toy can be composted, biodegradable or reusable.
Needle felting is a hobby that requires a lot of patience & time. Each needle felt cat toy can take me 1-2 hours to make, however it is eco-friendly and non toxic to our planet.
The process of needle felting involves transforming loose fibers by using special barbed needles to tangle the fibers, such as wool, into dense fabric-like materials that would create the toys you see on Milly's Cat Toys.
Fact: Dry needle felting is a relatively new, it was created in the early 1980's.
All of Milly's Cat Toys are handmade with care and planet friendly. Materials that were used to make this cat toy can be composted and or biodegradable. The paracord used to wrap the handle of wand can he reused once the life of the cat wand has been depleted.
