Hi there! I'm Kelly, the hand spinner behind Forever Winding Wool. I've been knitting and crocheting for over 40 years, and I've loved every minute of it! My passion for wool and fibers runs deep, and it all started with my time volunteering at a local living history museum in Pennsylvania.
There, I immersed myself in the traditional fiber arts, perfecting the intricate process of hand spinning wool, just as women did in times gone by. My husband and I demonstrated fleece washing, combing, spinning, and transforming fiber into functional garments. This experience deepened my connection with wool and fiber, which I bring to every creation at Forever Winding Wool.
Inspired by the historical surroundings and my love for fiber, I created a captivating line of hand-spun and hand-dyed yarns. These yarns, with their vibrant and unique colors, reflected the enchanting colors in the museum's exhibits and showcased my commitment to preserving and celebrating the fiber arts heritage.
