I created this card and have had it printed locally. I love flowers and wanted to combine these lovely harebells with a birthday greeting.

Meet the Maker
I live in a rural area with my husband, surrounded by woodland, meadows, and wildlife. I believe that when we are in contact with beautiful things such as the natural world, our thoughts turn to positive and uplifting ideas. I try to put some of the appreciation I feel for the world around me into my cards. Creating them is one of the greatest enjoyments of my life, and I also like to inject a bit of whimsy and fantasy into my work with fairies, trolls, and wizards. I am thankful every day for my husband and son and the world around me.
How it’s Made
I always start my cards with a preliminary sketch, which I work on until I get it just right. After I'm satisfied, I transfer it to Bristol board and get out my paints. This is the part I really enjoy, making the card come to life with color. After the card is finished, I use Gimp to add the wording to it, and it's done. I find great satisfaction in creating something that looks nice and that will make someone else happy.
