How it’s Made
The dimensions of this whimsical turtle is about 6-inches in diameter and stands about 2inches tall. Due to the nature of working with pine wood is that some of the texture of the wood comes through in some areas, the item still has the character of hand painted wood.
After burning the design into the wood, the surface is sealed and then hand painted. This turtle is varnished with 5 coats of environment friendly varnish.
Wipe the surface with a damp cloth. When you gently push the turtle, it's head and tail bob.
