Meet the Maker
Collin Allen, a lifelong resident of Wichita, brings over two decades of active engagement in the local arts scene. His journey began with immersion in arts programs at Butler County Community College and Wichita State University, where he delved into industrial processes and their creative applications.
For over thirty years, Collin has passionately crafted and shared his jewelry and other handmade treasures with the world.
As an artist in residence at the Go Away Garage Gallery in Wichita, KS, Collin transitioned into various roles, including gallery assistant, preparator, and public relations, leaving an indelible mark on the local art scene. His artistic endeavors have graced numerous group and solo exhibitions across Wichita and beyond, spanning regional, national, and international galleries. Collin's dedication to the arts extended to his involvement with the Wichita Arts Alliance.
Currently, Collin continues to explore industrial processes at Go Create, situated on the Wichita State University Innovation Campus. Armed with a BFA in Studio Art (with a focus on painting) from Wichita State University, along with an associate's degree in the Science of Welding and several certifications in 3D digital design from Wichita State University Tech, Collin's multidisciplinary expertise fuels his creative journey.
How it’s Made
Each handmade men's heavy duty leather bracelet with Fleur De lis stainless steel bead and stainless steel magnetic locking clasp. Uses solid 6mm leather cord as the main material. The stainless steel bead is fitted to the center of the bracelet with a magnetic clasp to finish the bracelet. Collin made these bracelets for himself like everything he makes in the beginning. Once he feels that item is up to his standards and can deal with his abuse in the shop. He then begins to produce them for others. Collin only makes a limited amount of items each year because his time is split between his jewelry shop and his art studio . No one other then Collin makes any of his works and they never will. Each item that is made is unique and in no way prefect. This means each item is the only one, It is important to Collin.

Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.
