About this Product
This heavy duty 4 ply blackout fiberglass cordless roller shade is custom cut to the exact size that you provide. There is no surcharge for cutting these shades to your exact widths. All shades will fit windows that are up to 72 inches in length, top to bottom. The shade is a durable wipeable fiberglass weave which will last for years and years without showing wear. The subtle moire pattern adds interest and beauty without being distracting. The bottom hem is stitched rather than being heat sealed like found on lesser quality shades. The bottom hem contains a wooden shade slat rather than plastic. Mounting hardware is included.
For scalloped shades, the distance between the lowest dip in the scallops is 9". Depending upon the width you enter, the scallop edge will vary on the right-hand side of the shade as that is the side the shades are cut from.
We have installed these shades in residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional settings. As an added benefit, the shades meet fire code making them a safer choice.

Instructions for measuring:
Inside the window mount:
For mounting a shade on the inside of the window, measure the width (side-to-side) of the window to the smallest nearest 1/8 of an inch. Do not make any allowances or the shade will not fit properly. If you are replacing properly fitting existing roller shades you can use the exact measurement of the vinyl material and add 1" to that to arrive at the proper measurement.
Outside the window mount:
For an outside of the window mount: Add 1" to the width (side-to-side) of the area you wish to cover.
Instructions for ordering:
1. Select the color, mounting type, base shade width. This helps to reduce waste and costs to you by offering multiple standard widths from which your shade will be cut to order. If your measurement is greater than the base size you selected please order the appropriate base size.
2. Enter the custom finished cut to size to the smallest 1/8". Please add each new size as its own item to the cart (if you are purchasing multiples of the same exact custom cut size/color combination that can be a single line item). When purchasing multiple sizes/colors, please added each customized shade as a new line item.

My great grandfather started the family business in 1923. We are excited to bring some of our hand customized items to this amazing growing community. We have decades and decades of experience in the custom window fashions industry which gives us a unique eye for style and drives our offerings. We are brand new to this community and will be working on growing our selection. We are here to help so please feel free to reach out with any questions. How it’s Made
We take the exact width you provide and we use my grandfather's shade machine. It is essentially a lathe made for cutting shades to size. Nothing about this machine is automated, the machine is so old this model uses a hand tightened clamp to secure the shade for cutting (newer machines auto-grab the shade with a mechanism that clamps down when the lathe is engaged.
Shop Policies
All of our items are cut to the exact sizes you provide. As such, we cannot accept returns. Much like a haircut you can get more length taken off but you can't add to what is there. As the old saying goes, measure twice, cut once. To be safe, we triple check all customer provided measurements prior to committing to any custom cuts.
