About this Product
Not your Grandma's bacon press, this hand forged piece of functional art is made from 1/4 carbon steel stock, and has a high handle to keep your hand away from popping grease. Weighing a hefty 2 pounds 4 ounces, it is heavy enough to hold down any bacon, burger, or hot sandwich without the need for constant manual pressing. Other presses are made from lighter material. This is a manly press for a manly kitchen, pre-seasoned, and ready to rock.

How it’s Made
I forge the handle at 1700 degrees and join it to the 1/4 inch solid steel plate with rivets. Finally, the whole piece gets cured in vegetable oil to provide a durable, and stick resistant coating.
