About this Product
Not your Grandma's burger press, this hand forged, one of a kind, piece of functional art is made from 1/4 carbon steel stock, and has a high handle to keep your hand away from popping grease. Weighing a hefty 2 pounds 4 ounces, it is heavy enough to hold down any bacon, burger, or hot sandwich without the need for constant manual pressing. Other presses are made from lighter material. This is a manly press for a manly kitchen, pre-seasoned, and ready to rock.
Note: All items intended for use with food can not be returned for hygiene, and liability reasons in. accordance with the commerce laws of the State of Florida .
Note: as each press is made, by hand, to order, with recycled materials, the one you will receive will be very similar to the one pictured, but not exactly the same. Handmade items will all have some variance. It will however weigh as close as Newtonian physics allow, and is guaranteed to function as described.

How it’s Made
I forge the handle at 1700 degrees and join it to the 1/4 inch solid steel plate with rivets. Finally, the whole piece gets cured in vegetable oil to provide a durable, and stick resistant coating.
