About this Product
"Earth Day"
This eclectic yarn is upcycled all the way! I used scraps that would have otherwise been discarded.
The base is hemp roving with dyed pieces of raw hemp. I cut a chicken feed bag into strips, sprayed a little bit of water on them to make them easier to spin. I added a little bit of raw cotton fluffs and small bits of dyed wool to add a bit of softness and color.
This yarn will make a great addition to your upcycled art project.

Meet the Maker
Hi there!
My name is Amber. I have lived on my farm in Oregon since 2006. I do a little bit of everything and enjoy the variety!
One of my favorite endeavors is fiber. I love the diversity of what can become a quality yarn. Plant fiber, animal fiber, recycled and upcycled materials, I love to try it all!
Being able to grow my own fiber allows me to have a special connection with my craft. I hand shear my animals and therefore have a special bond with each one.
My fiber animals include pygora goats, sheep, llamas, angora bunnies, and the annual German Shepherd blow out.
I've been growing and spinning for almost a decade and only recently have I been crocheting stuffed toys, also known as amigurumi. I absolutely love it!
I'm open for requests for both hand spun yarn and amigurumi.
