Learn how to make Twinkle Toes the Hippo Ballerina. She is approximately 15" (38cm) tall and made with circular knitting machines.
You need a 46/48n, 40n and 22n machine. If you don't have a 40n machine, I do have an option on how to use the 46n/48n machine. You also need the normal supplies, yarn, polyfil, and eyes; as well as tulle and elastic for the tutu.
There's 2 options for the tutu... a sew option and no-sew option. The sew option needs a sewing machine and thread.
Tool required:
46 or 48 needles circular knitting machine
40 needles circular knitting machine
22 needles circular knitting machine
Scissors, tapestry needle, hot glue gun, loom hook
Materials:
Worsted weight yarn, waste yarn, fiberfil, tulle, elastic, hot glue and felt eyes.
Skill:
Basic knowledge and experience using the circular knitting machines is required.
Experience with waste yarn, mattress stitch and basic sewing

How it’s Made
You will need your circular knitting machine, and project yarn for this pattern. Yarn can be a #3 or #4 weight yarn or any yarn that works well in your machine. You will also need your standard tool kit of scissors, loom hook, tapestry needle and crochet hook.
