About this Product

Please be patient with me as I slowly find time in my studio again.  I am the sole caregiver for my husband who has suffer a serious health event.  These Totems are all individually made and hand painted by me.  Craftsmanship takes time, but it's worth it!  I realize the ship time on these is long, but I will ship earlier if I can.  I have it listed long to give me plenty of time to do a quality job while also caring for my husband.

FREE SHIPPING*!!!

***PLEASE NOTE ***  Due to shipping costs, I do not ship outside of the Contiguous United States.  If you are from Alaska or Hawaii and wish to purchase my item, please message me for a shipping quote.  If you live in AK or HI and purchase my item without agreeing upon a shipping cost, your order will be cancelled and refunded.

My garden totems are hand painted on 4" x 4" Western Cedar. Each one is different, each one is unique, how ever they will look very similar to the ones pictured. They add a great splash of color to your garden either as an accent or the centerpiece. They are protected with a UV protecting marine varnish to help prevent fading and to ensure a long life. However- to prolong their vivid color, I recommend placing them in a shaded area and that you store them indoors in the winter months when the sun is at it's harshest. I do not use a mass produced vinyl wrap on a PVC plastic pole.

Two color schemes are available, the "Earthy" color scheme which consists of mustard yellow, burnt orange, brick red, dusty blue, plum, etc., and the "Bright" color scheme consists of vivid shades of lemon yellow, tangerine orange, lime green, magenta, turquoise, etc.  See the listing pictures for an example of each color scheme.

The Mini Totem Measures 32" from the base to the top of the ball.

The Small Totem Measures 41 inches from base to top of the ball.

The Medium Totem measures 54 inches from base to the top of the ball.

The Large Totem measures 65 inches from base to the top of the ball.

Each Totem comes with a piece of re-bar that is to be driven into the ground, leaving 10" above ground. Each Totem is drilled 10-12" deep into the base to then slide over the exposed re-bar. You can then push and pull to get them "plumb" The only tools you will need to install are a heavy hammer to drive the re-bar into the ground and a level would be handy for plumbing it up.

Have a specific color scheme in mind? I currently offer 2 standard color schemes- the original Bright colors and now the Earthy color scheme for a more muted natural look. But I'm open to custom colors if you have an idea of your own. Give me a shout, I'm sure I can make something special for your garden.

Totems are handmade to order.  I have not been able to keep an inventory on hand for quite a while due to the demand.  Please keep this in mind when ordering and be aware that it may be 6-10 weeks before they are shipped out.

Meet the Maker

I paint fun, colorful furniture and accessories.  I welcome custom requests!  Most of the furniture pieces you see pictured were custom pieces and are shown as a portfolio piece.  While I don't ever do two pieces exactly alike, I can do something similar.  Prices vary depending on the initial cost of the blank piece, the size and surface area to be covered and the detail of the painting.  Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a colorful day!

ATTENTION! Your patience is requested.  My husband recently suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm and I am now his full time caregiver.  While he is recovering, he does need quite a bit of my attention, therefore my studio time is limited.  I have adjusted my shipping time frames accordingly.  I am not taking custom furniture orders at this time, but am willing to add you to a waiting list, which may be a year+ long.  Message me if you have any questions.  Thanks again for your patience.

Shop Policies

Payment is due before the piece will be shipped.  (well, that makes sense...)

If the listing is for a "Deposit" on a custom order, progress will not begin until the deposit payment has been made.  (pretty self-explanatory, don't you think)

Due to limited space in my studio I cannot 'store' unpaid pieces.  If payment is not received for the deposit or a completed custom order within 30 days of notification of the "Deposit Listing, or the "Final Payment Listing", I will assume that the project or piece has been abandoned.  Unless prior arrangements have been made, I will dispose, donate, or sell the piece at my discretion.  No refunds will be given for payments already made unless by prior agreement.  (Don't leave me hanging!)

Custom orders cannot be cancelled once painting has started.  Color and design changes should be brought to my attention at the time of the first "update" report.  (I'll keep you posted on progress!  Don't worry!)

I generally have a waiting list for custom work.  Please contact me to see how long the wait is and how to reserve your place in my queue.  Please be patient with me as I am a one woman shop, I'm working as fast as I can and still keep up the quality of work that I demand of myself.  I don't work well under pressure.
