Meet the Maker
Now that I am retired, I can finally return to creating with my hands: things like toys and home decor in wood, acrylic, and epoxy. Long, long ago, I enjoyed crafting (after high school), but you know how life happens with jobs, kids, and grandkids. Now I can dive back into working with all kinds of wood species, acrylic sheeting, epoxy, and miniature lighting to create toys, wall art, tea houses, coasters, and cutting boards.
I am blessed with a wonderful wife, daughter, son-in-law, and three grandkids. We live in the rolling piney woods hills of East Texas.
I enjoy learning new techniques with my laser cutter to produce artwork and new techniques in the various art forms in which I dabble. I also love performing as a steampunk-themed balloon animal twister ("BAMM the Balloon Man") with my granddaughter ("Twister") as a sidekick.
I am currently fulfilling a lifelong bucket list item by getting a textbook/workbook/journal published on grief support (I am a retired hospice chaplain and grief coach). It has been a joy working with my team of editor, artist, and project director. It took an entire summer to write the first draft! Hoy!
How it’s Made
14 1/2" tall (including the handle), 10" wide, and 5/8" thick. The handle itself is 4 1/2" above the board and 2 1/4" wide. Deep engraved into the wood, unlike many sellers who barely engrave in order to save on work time costs. This gives the project a dimensional look instead of a stamped look.

The Usual Procedure
You find an item(s) you like, place an order and immediately pay for its creation, shipping and taxes. No special communication may be needed if you like the item as depicted (colors).
Custom orders are welcome. A change or two in color will not result in an uptick in price, but multiple changes will. Before ordering custom changes, it is wise to contact me regarding these and possible price changes. If we agree, order and pay for the item(s).
Returns & exchanges
I gladly accept cancellations
Request a cancellation within 2 hours of purchase. Payment is due at ordering. I sometimes begin working immediately on your order, so it is imperative to contact me ASAP if wishing to cancel.

All items are sold as-is, with no refunds or returns. If there is any problem with your order, I will happily work with each buyer.
Custom Orders: Once purchased, all sales are FINAL after 2 hours from purchase, especially custom orders.
Where's my Personalization Proof? - Shop policies
A proof will be emailed to you for the personalized products you've purchased. Proofs will be sent within 48 BUSINESS hours after payment is cleared.
The order will be created only after you approve the design(s). Because the products are approved and personalized for you, no refunds will be granted AFTER the first proof is sent.
What happens to unapproved proofs? - Shop policies
Unapproved Proofs:
After I have sent the 1st proof, and if you do not reply, I will send several reminder messages to check in on you.
After 1 month, and if you have not responded, I will automatically COMPLETE your order. Your order will be marked as shipped. You will receive a shipping notice with a note saying you need to approve your design if you want to have your item finished and shipped. I will not send any more reminders after this.
Once you approve your design, I will ship your item posted in my turnaround time.

LASER CUT/ENGRAVED Items:
All items will be shipped within 3-7 BUSINESS days of order and payment. (If the item is a PERSONALIZED ITEM – Production will start AFTER Proof has been approved.) Shipping sometimes will take longer if there is a backlog of orders or weather conditions are causing delays in paint curing. Feel free to inquire before ordering what the turnaround window is.
