This candle has an almost undistinguishable pine scent and features a Harry Potter book as the base. It is decorated with a green ribbon and a pendant that is the Deathly Hallows symbol.

Meet the Maker
I am a book lover who saw the potential for damaged books and well-loved base materials. All items used in these projects are secondhand and needed a new purpose. The books used are romance and fantasy novels with the occasional comic book.
How it’s Made
The jar is covered with strips from an upcycled copy of Harry Potter. The wax comes from pre-used candles and new soy wax to fill out the candle. The ribbon was collected from a rummage sale and the jar came from a previously used item.
