About this Product
Like so many others of my time, I've become interested in good town planning and the benefits of walkable neighborhoods. These buildings are inspired by architectural designs from the 1800s, when people walked everywhere and built their towns and cities accordingly: business on bottom, homes on top.
These buildings take multi-use neighborhoods to a whole new level, by doubling as bookends! If you want to use your kit as a bookend, select the "Include BBs" option when ordering.

Meet the Maker
My name is Joe Savina and I have severe Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. While recovering from being nearly catatonic, I began designing Lego kits to pass the time. After folks at my sister's wedding fawned over a piece I made for the occasion, I realized maybe other people would like my designs enough to buy one!
How it’s Made
I start every design on my computer using modeling software because I suffer from limited mobility. When I have something I'm happy with, I build it in real life over the course of several days. This process teaches me things about the design that need to change, like color, build order, or part arrangements. I go back and update the design and have a friend or family member build it from a kit. They provide feedback on the build and instructions and I make changes as needed.
With enough back and forth I end up with a design worth putting out into the world!
