Hello, friend!

My name is Randi-Lynn and I’m the creator behind Lynnie Rae Designs. I have always been drawn to the arts and have been making it in some form or fashion my entire life. Drawing, pastel painting, digital art, bullet journaling, YouTube videos, and hand embroidery to name a few. I also have a passion for science and hold a Master of Science in biology as well as a Master of Art in teaching.
I know it’s taboo to talk money in polite society but I want to be as open and honest with you as I can because I want you to truly know how much your support means to me. In 2016, I landed the perfect job for me! I became an adjunct instructor at a local community college teaching environmental science. I enjoyed that job for five years until, in 2021, I was forced to make a decision between my physical well-being and the career I worked towards having my entire life. As a disabled person (diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 2, if you’re curious) I am required to stay within very strict income limits in order to keep receiving prohibitively expensive life saving services, treatments, and equipment. Being an adjunct instructor allowed me to be in control of my income by choosing how many classes I taught each semester and therefore how much I was paid each month. Due to the ever-increasing complex relationships among the laws and restrictions placed on me, my caregivers, and the services I require to (quite literally) remain alive, I had to make the heart-wrenching decision to give up my life’s work.
But if life as a disabled person has taught me anything it’s resilience and resourcefulness. And that’s where you come in! Goimagine gives me the same income control with Vacation Mode and the flexibility to work from home. If I should ever be as lucky as to earn my income limit in sales, I can stop selling until the next month by putting my shop on vacation. Every purchase made from my shop gives me a bit more financial security and the opportunity to lead a more fulfilling life. So again, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you!
