Hi, I’m Laura, the artist and owner behind Laura Jaen Art. I live in the Finger Lakes area of upstate New York (the Southern Tier region if we’re being technical).
A lot of my inspiration comes from observing the beauty I see around me. I think one of the coolest things about being an artist is being able to see something that seems ordinary or unnoticed and bring it to life through art. It feels almost like a superpower to be able to find the beauty in anything.
Most of my artwork is in acrylic or ink pens. I also like to experiment with different mediums and techniques to learn new skills. I strive to always being learning and growing as an artist and as a person.
