My name is Cindy and I got my love of color and sparkle from my mother. She and I owned a successful custom ceramic business where we created and hand painted teapots, mugs, dishes, cake plates, all manner of table settings. I lost her to cancer and carried along on my own. The pandemic brought that business to a close. So I turned to the other things we had loved, ribbons and beads. I worked and fiddled until I created my "Arm Candie". I use satin, grosgrain, velvet and sari ribbon in "yummy" colors. I continue to experiment with other ribbons and beads, it's just so much fun! I hope it shows in my work!
