Live By Every Word

• Over the years, I have created bookmarks for my friends with bible verses and passages I have grown to love. On one side, I would type in the Bible verse with a simple design, and on the other side, a note to encourage or tell how they had inspired me. My design changed as my love of the Word grew. This was when I began to place the paragraph, or if space allowed, the chapter that included the verse on the back of the bookmark. The name Live by Every Word came one day as I searched for a name for my newfound love. It comes from the passage in Matthew 4 when Jesus is tempted in the wilderness. The first verse Jesus uses to refute the devil is in Matthew 4: 4. Jesus said, " Man cannot live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God." This verse inspired me to share God's Word in this way.
• I desire that as you read a verse, you will be inspired to read the chapter, the book, the bible to Taste and See that the Lord is Good and with a growing desire to Live by Every Word, maturing in your knowledge and love for your Lord and Savior, and with a heart cry of Here Am I Send Me!
