It began as tidying up the old sewing box, folding some scraps of cloth and trying to use the empty drawers that the children left behind when they left, a needle or thread could perhaps mend the broken heart after parting, when I finally realized that they would not return . Curiously l began to make felt hearts, then add a flower, until the idea began to emerge and my inspiration turned to the dolls, Keca’s creations arise in tranquility of the country side of Jones County, inspired by the traditions of the state of Georgia ( where heaven lands ) I m a mother, a grandmother and l once was a child … and that little one still expressing it self….
