Pictures On The Wall is original abstract and mixed media artwork created by Seattle painter Lisa Cooper. I have had a love for art since childhood. I would often be found doodling on paper in school. Art Studio was my favorite class in high school. I tried my hand at painting in 2018 and fell in love with acrylics. It was “The Great Pause of 2020” that really ramped up my desire to create. I needed canvases and paints immediately. With all my down time during the pandemic I was free to make art daily. I found that abstract expression was my sweet spot. My style has influences of Kandinsky and Pollock with a touch of Rothko. My drive to tap into my creativity is insatiable and I don’t anticipate my passion to wane anytime soon.
