Given the state of our modern lives and these challenging times, it seems frivolous to make and sell art objects. There are those of us, however, who want to hold something in our hands to feel more connected to being human. It is in that spirit, that I share these serious, and sometimes silly offerings. My hope is to ease the worries of the daily grind!
Over the years, I have exhibited, published, sold and taught art. Right now, I’m not taking life as seriously as I used to - and I am playing, exploring, and having fun with art making.
The themes in my work reflect anxiety, and foundational imagery. They include organic figures, worms, insects, and biological references. Other themes could emerge.
I am happy to have found a platform for handmade goods that donates profits to the needs of children, and puts effort toward adding a drop of good in the life-bucket. Thank you for visiting my shop!
