I rediscovered sewing during COVID-19. My previous occupation was as a licensed massage therapist. After my place of business closed due to the pandemic, I began to research other ways to bring in an income. I knew I wanted to be able to create beautiful things and this knowledge led me to sewing. My mother taught me the basics of sewing and at the time sewing didn't interest me. As I get older, sewing has become very enjoyable and relaxing. Peace comes over me as I walk into my sewing room and begin to create placemats, napkins, and table runners.
