I taught myself to both knit and crochet in 2002 when pregnant with my oldest child, and my love for texture and color quickly became a full-blown obsession! I started my own small business in 2016, selling both patterns and a huge range of finished items in person and online. In 2018, I purchased a small rigid heddle loom and quickly became addicted to weaving as a new way to play with the wide spectrum of yarns I've collected over the years. In 2022 I also started playing with digital designs, with a focus on fun merchandise for crafters. Currently, my passion is sustainability and environmentally responsible crafting. Each item that I make is created with my own hands, and many are also my own original designs. Through my weaving and various other fun scrap-busters, my business has become nearly zero waste and I've taken a pledge to buy no new yarn for at least the rest of 2024.
